Goodwill Goodness! :-)

Okay, I hit it great at Goodwill last week. :)
Here's my stash!
All for $25.00
Want to know what I'm going to do with it all?
Well that black, funny looking stand that I have no idea what it's suppose to be (maybe a wine rack??)  is going to be this......

I turned it upside down and decided to mount it on the side of the house for a water hose hanger. I've been wanting one that looks almost identical to this at Tuesday Morning, but it was something like $26.00!!! This was 3 bucks and I think it looks just as good.....
What do you think? :-)
(sorry about the shadows - it was dark......silly ol' flash!)

The old black lamp in the picture is going in my son's room...he begged me for it because he said it reminded him of this......

I see what he means....

I brought it home and scrubbed it down and repainted it black and had it in his room within the hour! I am impatient to get things done!
Here it is in his room......
(Please ignore the price tag on the pencil sharpener! :-o)

As for the rest of my goodies, I washed SCRUBBED AND BLEACHED the dishes  so I could use them. :)
I'll show you what I do with all the brass items I bought later.....
lets just say they won't be brass much longer.
I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with the corbel...I'll keep you posted. LOL

Hope you guys are having a wonderful week!
Melissa

I think it looks great as a hose holder. I have one of those Pixar looking lamps too! I painted mine black as well. Thanks for sharing.

Hey! The water hose holder looks amazing! haha It does look like the lamp from "pixar!"

That's so funny we almost have the same bathroom mirror! Mine doesn't have the little arms. I almost bought that one though. I'm going to place the two capiz sconces on both sides of the mirror & I thought that the arms might be too much going on for the sconces lol.

Melissa...I showed my husband what you did with the wine rack and he was impressed! Great idea and so decorative at the same time! Sometimes I get lucky at Goodwill..not always, though. Hope your holiday today is dry...we have been having on and off showers all morning so far. My whole family is coming from Columbus and I need some dry weather for our cookout! ~Hugs, Patti
