Two bolts...and not the lightning kind! :) Goodwill LOVE!

Just had to show you guys what I lucked into Friday!

I took my little guy to the library and on the way home
something just told me to go to Goodwill.
(it's the same little voice that tells me to eat chocolate too!)

:0)

Do you have that voice too?
(you do if you're female!)

ANYWAY!

I listened to the little voice and went into Goodwill,
I wanted you to see what I found.
I was just walking around, finding nothing, when my eye
happened to scan a big open cart in the back of the store and
I saw these.....

Two very good sized rolls/bolts of fabric!

The first is a very pretty green chenille...kind of a kiwi-ish/olive green.
Very pretty with chocolate brown....my wheels are turning!

The next roll was this lovely pink and cream toile.
I LURVE toile...in a big fat puffy heart, kind of way!

This one has such sweet scenes on it too..
they're all of little children playing!

I don't know what I'll be doing with these fabrics yet, but
I just can't pass up big rolls of lovely fabric!

Guess how much they cost?

Oh, this was so exciting to me!!
I got them for $6.00 a ROLL...the WHOLE roll!
I have paid three times that for one yard of really good
upholstery fabric before.
My heart skipped a beat when I saw the fabric and
did a somersault when I saw the price!

Oh joy!

Just had to share with all my best buddies!
You know, I never knew I could care so much about
people I will probably never get to meet.

You guys are the best!

HUGS!
Missy

Hi Missy!
Are you ever one lucky ducky! Both fabrics were such a super find!
I have a teeny weeny bit of the pink toile and think it's one of the prettiest I've ever seen . . . and the perfect pink!
I;ve gotten some wonderful deals at our local GoodWills but never bolts of fabric!
Thanks for sharing your treasures - your excitement is contagious :-)

Hey--This would be a champange kind of moment, if I had any, that is!! I don't think I can even spell it-had to look it up on google!! My usual choice is Squirt (grapefruit pop). My daughter will be moving into a new (to her) home in January and could use some of that toile for new chair seats for her $5 (each) chairs. I'm glad you let us hear about this special find. ♥♫
