Mario and Luigi..more birthday party ideas! Treasures and Trinkets Linky Party!

It’s time for my weekly Treasures and Trinkets Linky Party! :o)  Just link up something you love, a treasure of yours, or a project you’ve been working on….anything goes!  If you know how, I’d love it if you’d link back to my page. Thanks!
Okay, now for one of my little birthday projects~ I thought I’d share how I made these birthday party hats for my son’s Mario and Luigi party.  I’ll show you the whole party in another post..boy oh boy, was it fun~!

I actually found these brightly colored visors on from a company called Gravity Trading for $3.99 each. The company was wonderful to work with and I’d buy from them again! Very nice people!  I ordered 3 red and 3 green visors for my son’s party.
To get the M’s and L’s on the hats, I turned to my cricut expression.  I found a font that matched what I was looking for, then added a circle around it.  I cut it out using my cricut and this is what I got……

If you don’t have a cricut, you could just buy some vinyl stick on letters, use iron on letters,  or even spray paint them on with a stencil. (you could even hand cut them….shouldn’t be too hard.)

I just added the vinyl cut outs to the hats and I think they turned out really cute!

The  boys at the party loved fact, they wore them to church the day after the party too! How funny!

Stay tuned for more Mario and Luigi party fun!

I wish I could share a source for the rabbits, I bought them at a thrift store, but Raz is a common company for goodies at gifty stores.
Thanks for being our hostess:-)
