My darling husband spent an entire day this week driving me around to all my favorite shops. We visited TJ Maxx, Home Goods and Tuesday Morning. I must say I had more fun than you can shake a stick at! You see, I have spring fever in a HUGE way and can't wait to get outside and decorate my very dreary patio. :) It was so sweet last year with the pink impatiens spilling out of the little basket on my chocolate brown wicker coffee table...........but that's all a faint memory now. Snow, rain and an all enveloping blah has taken over where all that sweetness once reigned. ANYWAY, my shopping trip was a great success for finding some awesome spring fever buys! I have HUGE plans for my newly acquired goodies. :) My first find was at Tuesday Morning where I found a great planter! I paid $20 for it, which is more than I would usually pay, but I loved how it has a low profile so we can see over it when we want to talk over the table it's going to sit on. :-) It's going to be part of my new centerpiece for my outside table on my patio. I bought a grapevine wreath to set on top of it.........kind of reminiscent of a giant bird's nest. :) Speaking of birds, I bought two FABULOUS containers of pastel colored bird eggs! I am going to fill the planter with beautiful green sheet moss (at least that's the plan I have in my head....could always change later) and nestle the sweet little eggs inside. :-) Here's a pic of all my goodies! Oh, I also got the lovely pink plaid tablecloth for either my round patio table or my kitchen table.........struggling on this issue a bit! :)
Anyway, I just wanted to share my wonderful finds. I guess I feel like if I'm writing about all my ideas for spring, it might just come a little sooner! :)
Have a blessed day!
i love all your finds!! =)
I think I am definitely going to go with #3! Everybody said that it was definitely more me! lol The patterened piece is a rug, it looks like wallpaper though! lol I'm so glad you have a blog now!

What a wonderful husband:) I get about two passes a year, when he "takes me around." My husband just told me he can't wait for spring. Maybe I can use one of those passes.....
I hope you get a pass for spring..........we all need a boost about now to keep us holding on for warmer weather. :)
My honey usually takes me around when I ask him, but he works in two states and has to travel, so I don't ask him very often. (besides I have my own car, I just like his company) :)
