Goodwill jars from country to chic!

Check out all the clear jars I got at goodwill
for .75 each!

Yes, I know they have country blue lids..

and yes, I know how to fix that problem!
:)

Krylon Fusion paint is for painting plastic.
It bonds to plastic on a molecular level
and doesn't peel off!
Spectacular!

Here's my lids all painted white!

Now here's the lids, back on my jars and in my pantry!

See the sweet little labels I put on them?
I used this to do it with.....

I.  LOVE.  MY.  LABEL.  MAKER!

Oh so cute and MUCH cheaper than buying new ones
in the store! :)

I LOVE EM'!
:-)

Hey, thanks for your help yesterday with my commenting problems.
I still don't have it figured out, but I did get my
picture problem solved.
It kept saying server rejected and wouldn't let me load pictures.
I figured out what it was.  Picasa (which is where Blogger stores our pictures, in case you didn't know)
will only let you have 1,000 pics in an album. On the old editor it would automatically
open a new album for you, but the new editor won't. I had to switch back to the old
editor and load pictures, then switch back to the new one.
It took me HOURS to figure this out...UGH, but at
least I finally got it! :)
Now the new editor loads photos!
Hallelujah!
Just thought I'd put that in there in case someone else is having issues like me.

I'm still working on the commenting problem.
SO, if you're commenting, please don't think I'm ignoring you..I'm not, just
having some blogger issues. :)

Have a great week!
Hugs
Missy

hey foxxy, I am trying to prepare my pantry for a makeover. I want to paint it and put in some toile wallpaper and organize it better....it's a very BRIGHT blue right now, from the previous owner. I have so many projects I want to do, can't figure out where to start!

Hi MIssy...Sorry to hear you have been having blogger issues. I was having the same problem with loading pictures. It would only let me load 5. I switched to Live Writer and now I don't have that problem. I am still learning it...I don't post often enough to keep in the habit but I do like it! Love your jar idea and on the "cheap"! Nice label maker! Have a great Sunday!~Hugs, Patti

Thats a great idea! I need to do that. I have passed up countless jars with lids at thrift stores in the past and could never think of anything to do with them. Now that I want them...I wonder if I'll be able to find them? lol Great job!

Lee Laurie

What a great deal!! I love you spray painted the lids white. I like them country blue as well, I guess I am strange like that.

glad you guys like them....I love how much they hold and that they're clear! :)

Crystal, I've never used livewriter, glad you like it. I get frustrated with blogger, but I do like it when it works! :)

Susan, I didn't mind the blue, it just didn't match and they were different color blues too. (and I just LOVE white! lol)
