Treasures and Trinkets Linky Time!

Can I be honest with you guys?  I’ve had a terrible week..everyone in our house has been sick and actually they’re still sick, so I’m not feeling much like partying today.  I also know I’m posting this early, but I have to do it while I feel like it.

Smile

So as funny as it may be, this is my Treasure for the week….

Smile

I know, I’m usually all upbeat and happy, but between all this sickness and the horrible weather in KY, I’m kinda bummed.……does anyone know exactly how long it can rain in one place before they’re considered part of the rain forest?  LOL
Seriously..I don’t remember the last time it’s rained for so long and now it’s cold to boot.  We’re supposed to be in the 70’s and it’s been in the 40’s and 50’s….goodness I need sun and warmer temps!

Ok…I need you guys to give me some pretty things to look at while lying in this bed!
Link up your goodies so I’ll have something to do while recovering from this creeping crud I have going on!
Hope you all have a wonderful “rest of the week”!~
Missy

Missy,

Hope the day treats to better health if not sunshine. Are you sure it's not allergies? We've had rain in NJ too which means by the time it stops our property will look like a lush jungle complete with killer mosquitoes and green-head flies.

In answer to your question: "…does anyone know exactly how long it can rain in one place..."

Forty days.

Start worrying when pairs of animals arrive at your doorstep.

Your Friend,
Deborah

Oh Missy...I so sorry you and the family not feeling well. It is depressing when all we see is rain and gray skies outside and then feel chilled and now you are actually sick. At least you all can kind of sleep away the rain till the sun comes back out in a couple of days. It will be warm and sunny again...I promise! Feel better and thanks for your help with my problem. At least I can get to my dashboard this way...better than no way.~Hugs, Patti

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that you and your family are sick. It is this funky cold rainy weather. We are experiencing the same here. You get better. Stay warm, drink lots of water, hot tea is good, eat lots of spinach and blueberries (both loaded with antioxidants). And those are orders young lady!

Laughing at Deborah's answer "40 days..."
Hey- if the green stuff works for you it is treasure.
I am sure this cold wet weather is not helping but I hear almost everywhere will get one day of sun this week. Hnag in there.

Give thanks it is not snowing.

Hi Missy, sorry you are not feeling well. I understand the cloudy, cold and wet...I live in MN and I don't like it. It's like that almost all summer here. This is my first link up to your party. Thanks for hosting and I hope you feel better soon.
