Woohoo! Missy, you and the Hubs rocked that arbor and it is wonderful! I love it. I would be so thrilled to have an arbor myself so i can totally relate to the smile just walking under it!!Way to go! Okay, I say you go for a gazebo next! :)Have a wonderful day my sweet friend!Hugs,Diann
Missy, your arbor is just lovely!! I'm so happy for you!!
Hi Missy....Great job! I like how you connected it to the fence and utilized what was already there! You are so talented! Right now, what makes me smile is the beautiful colors in the trees!~Hugs, Patti
Your house is very pretty. Love the arbor. Ya'll did a great job. grass.. major crunch! However we got a wee bit of rain tonight with a couple of big rounds of thunder!I'm linking up an older post. My fireplace, cause it still makes me smile.gail
The fence and arbor are lovely. What a fine job! I'll try to join your link this week. There are lots of things that make me smile.
Missy, oh MYYYYYYYY it looks FABULOUS! SO GREAT that you did it yourself! AWESOME! I really like it too! I want to put climing roses on the back of my pergola. What did you plant on your arbor? Is it clematis? I have a GORGEOUS purple clematis on a wooden trellis Matt made me. It's funny because when the clematis start to die the morning glories start to take it over so I have color a long time. You know what makes me smile...YOU, white tootsie roll midgies, my children, my funny husband, my goofy dogs, baking, blog hopping, etc. and so on and so forth. I could go on forever!
OHHH and your home is LOVELY! It looks so welcoming and I love your ball topiaries!
I just have morning glories...but wait till next year! bwa ha ha ha!! :) (sounds like I'm getting into the spooky season huh?!)Glad you all like my arbor...I'm just in LOVE with it! :) I want a covered porch next, but I'll be saving for a while for that one! Hugsmissy
Missy, Great job on the arbor! I have one on the side of the house that leads to the summer kitchen. Part of it was made with an arch from a historical church that was demolished. It was covered with climbing pale pink roses and white jasmine but I cut it all back two weeks ago to paint the fence. Have no fear, it will return! Everything and anything grows here. Your home is beautiful. What makes me happy? Life!Your Friend, Deborah
I love the way you used your fence and gate for your arbor! Such a lovely entry to your yard!! Love it!
Oh my, love it. It would make me smile everyday too. I have been on the fence (hee hee) about getting a new fence and this may tip the scale for me.
